VDI instruction

1.1 Go to VMware website and download View Client

1.  Go to https://oaview.mediatek.com or https://view.mediatek.com (MOTP App needed)and choose 【 View Client 】to start install.
   Important thing to take note of is the various connection servers that you can select from when connecting to VDI.
   Please select the site geographically closest to you.

2. Click【 Next 】→【I accept the terms in the license agreement】→【 Next 】

 

 

1.2 Cancel log in as current user and set up default server

1. Cancel【 Log in as current user 】and click 【 Next 】
    
2.  Input “oaview.mediatek.com” or “view.mediatek.com (MOTP App needed)” in【Default View Connection Server 】box to set up default server.
   
   

1.3 Set up shortcuts and ready to install the program

1. Click 【 Next 】to finish set up shortcuts.
2.  Check 【Launch VMware Client after the installation is completed】and click 【 Install 】.

1.  Start Vmware View Client shortcut and confirm the connection server:【oaview.mediatek.com】or 【view.mediatek.com】and click 【Connect】.
   Please select the site geographically closest to you.

2. Input Windows account/password, confirm your domain and click【Login】to login the system.
3.  Select【HQ-Public】and click【Connect】to login VMWare environment.

 

Remind!

1. Do not store any data locally on virtual desktop! VDI will automatically restore to original state once you log off the system or disconnect the system.
2. Recommended internet connection speed is 160kbps and above.
